Oh leave him alone. Don't listen to whiney country music. You need to go out and have good ol' genuine fun. Hang out with the boys, play some lacrosse, involve yourself in deep mental thought. Come to grips ith the break up. Wrestle it to the ground beat it into a submission and sell it on ebay.

Here's the non-proverbial version:
Move on. High school relationships aren't meant to be, most of the time.

Does anybody else get hit up as the rebound like I did today, and the hundred other times it's hapened? Always getting the whole "I only like you as freind" BS, I'm so sick of it!

Here comes a story.

In sixth or seventh grade, I dunno, I was young, I asked a friend to ask a girl if she would dance with me at a "social" in middle school, and she said no. So I walked home (about two minutes away) and was feeling majorly depressed. I was such a major wimp AND dork. Moving on. The next day, after some pretty serious sadness and perhaps tears, I was pathetic, I went and did stuff like mini golfing and the world was okay.

i will ussally get acouple of freinds, jump in a car drive to north carilina, camp out on the beach and surf for atleast a weekend. if you dont surf get a couplr of friends and just drive away and have fun, party do w/e......it helps if these friends are guy friends.

and i ussaly stay away from music, it makes me think witch will get me sad

Being the rebound guy definitely sucks. It happened to me once, and I was like, man, being the rebound guy sucks. Hence my previous statement. Anyway, dont worry about a high school relationship. They're not meant to work out if you think about it, because they never do.

what you do to deal with a broken heart is to stop making threads on an online forum about how to deal with a broken heart.

In the words of Drew Carey, "My god! I'm a pity whore!"
