I read the tutorial, and it makes sense, but for unpinching heads, do I boil the head THEN stick the hockey puck where its too pinched or do I boil it while the puck is already placed?
Also, when I take the head out of the pan, do I grab the throat? or do I have a string attached to the scoop? --I'm worried if i grab the throat of the head i'll mess it up...
-The problem I'm having is the puck won't stay down. (I'm trying to un-pinch 2x evo pro's, 1x Revo Pro) Should I just use string to keep it down?
-A pencil won't work because its right at the bottom of the throat and the pencil keeps popping out-so I read that using a hockey puck would work, so I think imma try it.
Thanks

boil it with the puck already in the throat, if it keeps popping out try using a soup can
when it's done take it out and just leave it on the counter, let it sit till it cools down to room temp, maybe even overnight to a few days and then take the puck out

ill go through the steps i use.
1.push a baseball to the point that you want it and tie it up(i usually use about 4 feet), making sure to wrap multiple directions around the ball so that when the plastic softens the ball will stay in place.
2.remove the bottom rack in your oven and put the other rack at the very top. use paper clips to suspend the head by the throat and scoop. from the oven rack.
3. once the head is secured, turn the oven on to the lowest temprature. 200 for me.
4. let it bake for about 4 minuites, or until the plastic can be easily flexed by hand.
5. remove promptly and stash in the freezer for about 5 or 10 minuites. once completly cooled, cut string out and remove baseball.

i always thought this process weakened the head too much

Today I had to unpinch my evo pro, ran evo pro under really hot water for a few minutes in the bathtub then I had a pencil already measured to 6.75inches and I put that up top and then I put a baseball down towards the bottom, its drying/hardening now so hopefully it turns out good

easiest way
1.) put pizza stone in oven covered in aluminum foil
2.) pre heat oven to 350 degrees
4.) put dowel or baseball or softball (just get the unpinching correct) in head, make sure that you go about atleast half an inch over because it will re pinch a little
5.) put in oven for 10 minutes
6.) once oven is done put in fridge for 10 minutes
7.) once fridge is done put in freezer for 10 minutes
8.) take un-pinching items out of head and I recommend not using the head for anything strenuous for atleast 3 hours

^^haha I know your not responsible, it's not that big of a deal, I'm a goalie and I have 2x evo pro's and 1x revo pro layin' around.... I might have to unpinch my torque and triton too....

I understand but the way the world works today, one minute i'm helping someone do something, the next some random kids parents are trying to sue me saying I forced their kid to put their head in the oven and their house burned down, I'm pretty sure everyone here though possibly couldn't accomplish that, just make sure you don't go over 10 minutes, I never have attempted to but I assume if you do you'll have yourself some nice plastic soup
