[Help] mesh problems

Ok, this is my first 8D stringing. i can't get the pocket to go in at all. any tips? I have heard of something called doubling up, but i have no idea what that means, anyone want to explain.

do on mine, since im doing 8D, should i skip a sidewall hole, or do u bring the string back through it still?
