Sidewall is the strings you use to string the sidewall of your head, and same thing with topstring it's used for the topstring. Crosslace is for traditional stringing. And tipped strings are ones with the plastic at the end like shoelaces.

alright thanks
so what is the difference between the sidewall and topstring? is there a difference in thickness?

Topstring is thicker, if your going for a spool I'd say get sidewall or crosslace, because you can use it for everything.

if u are just going to get one spool, just go ahead and get crosslace, u can use it for everything and it works well. and yes there is a difference between them. but you can just use xlace for everything

No it's fine, sidewall is better for stringing mesh, and can be used to make a stiff traditional pokcet.
