How do you make a really high pocket with no whip?
I couldnt find a tutorial. some pictures would help to. Thanks

make your shooters very loose. it worked for me

just use composite mesh, and you won't have whip regardless of where your pocket is.

newtolax876- that is 100% not even close to true, it is incredibly easy to get whip in composite mesh, all you have to do is adjust your shooters correctly.

You need to ladder your shooting strings.

ive strung a few no whip high pockets, and i use 3 straight rolled shooters using the "ladder method." a tight bottom string always helps, but what ever you do dont use soft mesh

actually soft mesh will offer less whip if you string the pocket correctly. and by correctly i mean with a channel and the ladder method. but yes 3 rolled shooters will cut down a lot on the whip and a tight bottom string will as well.

set up your shooters but dont tie them go out and play some hard wall ball then when it throws how u like tie them and your done

Pm me too.... i like high pocket because of the hold, but I HATE WHIP... i miss alot w/ whip.

Just interlock the first 1-2 holes so it is tight at the top, then double up near the top, then single the rest. That will result in a tight no whip, high hold, high pocket. I do it all the time. Throw in a couple U's and make sure you ladder the shooting strings as well.
