You have my sympathy. I had 80+ scrimmages to assign but now that the season has started I am finished with the assignment task. I can make my mistakes on the field for all to see.

How about having a team on an island schedule weekday games at 5:00? The round-trip visit is around 12 hours, plus ferry fare. And these guys are wondering why they do not have officials. "Hey LaxRef, I have an open game on __ Island. How about you leave work at 11:00 this morning drive 2.5 hours, 1 hour ferry, 2 hour game, 8:00 ferry, and get home around 11:30 tonight?"
