Does ANYBODY bother to check the facts of what is put on the net ???
Sean Burns, "Men's Conference Notes", said that NAVY beat Cornell last weekend - in fact, it was COLGATE which lost to NAVY.
In the note regarding "IVY LEAGUE", he wrote " The Ivy is still clearly the closest LEAGE (emphasis added) in the country..."
Most programs have a feature known as SPELL CHECK.
The problem with such errors is that they indicate that the writer may have insufficient expertise.

Ya know, what would really be helpful is a link to know what you're rambling about.

Is this about the forum? If not, why are you in the Forum Guidlines, News, and Suggestions forum?

I know exactly what you mean. Wanna know what else that bugs me, that's similar to your problem, when I have no idea what the hell someone is talking about.

This isn't the first time.
I think with the printed IL editions, there aren't too many mistakes (I don't think I've noticed even 1.
However with the online stories and blogs, the number of errors HAS increased. I have seen a number of references on other forums as well.
Spell check, I could let slide if it was a "blog" not an article. As Sammy said...he's only human.
Facts of who won, the score, what player did, (IMHO) are inexcusable. These are basics. There are enough references out there that a quick check would solve it. Even in my simple previews I take the time and check my facts (might not get predictions right, but stats, etc I do).
