last year was my first season in goal.
pretty much everything i know i taught myself and im kinda stuck as to what to do next.
i strung my own stick last year because it became my only option, so i dont know if its done right or if i even have the best mesh for me, but ive been having problems clearing, i cant seem to get it too far. im thinking it might be the mesh, but any tips for getting the ball farther?
thanks.

First off, the best thing to do is get a friend and just spend and hour or two on a saturday just varying up your passing method slightly until you find the best way for you. But for a few tips:
Play with your shooters some, if they are too loose or too tight then they will really effect your passing.
Make sure your getting a few steps in if you need to get some momentum.
Sometimes it helps to kind of sidearm the ball a bit instead of going straight up and down over your head. Its hard to explain but like if your head is north and your feet are south then instead of going north to south when passing go from like northeast to the southwest. haha I hope that makes sense

how many diamonds is the mesh. like ncgoalie said you might need to fix the shooters. i like the top shoooter really tight the second one looser, the third on even looser, and so on

thanks, it does help.
ill try out that side arm thing.
as for loosening the shooters, jeez. i appreciate the suggestion, however i know nothing about my stick anymore or how to do that stuff. haha. ive decided on getting it restrung by someone who knows what they are doing with some different mesh to see if that helps any. thank you!

i appreciate any other tips anyone has. i wanna try as much as i can to get this clearing right!
