For all you club guys out there: how high do you cut the palms of your gloves? I know in the NCLL our rules are that your fingers have to be totally encased. So, do you cut them all the way to where my fingers meet my hands, or do you usually leave them a little lower (covering where most calusous form on your hands).

With a seam ripper. I personally dont cut out my palms, but that's how they say to do it on e-lacrosse. Maybe scissors but I dont think that would be as easy to work with.

I dunno, he says his rules allow it. Definitely look into it before you cut them out though. Wouldn't want to ruin a nice pair of gloves, now would we?

ok here's the deal, in club lax you can cut, ih HS lax u can't, but you can use a seam remover and remove all the meshy parts and leave the leather palms ...see e-lacrosse.com this months tips.....meaning, on warriors you'd have all the black leather left to hold the gloves on but no mesh part...

we are not allowed to cut in box here, but we all use this method....

as for the original post, most guys cut to the calous are, but fold it over and seam it w/ a machine, or else it will use up fast and eventually strech and not hold on to your hand...if you look at harrows palmless u know what I kinda mean to do

why would u want to cut out ur palms... it would just be ruining the value of ur gloves right? and just, ruining the gloves period...

keep the palms in there and use some tape

it's funny you say that, i had a guy on my team ask me to do some seam ripping ata tourny on hyperflexes, i had done it b4, but he wanted me to take out all the rubber patches they have in the palms, i know why, those stunt my stickhandling, perhaps this is a reason???

other just prefer more fell, i know I do.....
