Right now I have an Abyss on an F-15. I am looking into getting an unstrung Money and a platinum alloy for a new stick (I am tight on cash so I cant get anything top of the line). Would this stick be a step up in both lightness and durability? Or would it just be a waste of money?

Just stick with what you have. Honestly, it isn't much of an upgrade at all. Unless your Abyss is just falling apart, then get a new head. The F15 is an awesome shaft though. No shaft today compares to it.
So if you must, purchase a new head, and keep the shaft.

I do love the F-15, the thing is don't have a back-up goalie stick and I dont know If I should get it just to be safe.

I've been playing off and on for the past 3 years and just got back in the swing of goalie, I actually just started playing full time and love it so I have yet to get a back-up.
