Hey everyone, just looking for some advice for my situation. Right now i'm a freshman at community college in Illinois. At earliest I'm going to be applying to colleges for my second semester of Soph year. Even if i applied for second semester if the school I go to i'm gonna be walking on as a junior assuming all teams hold try outs in fall. So i'm wondering how coaches would think of a junior walking on the team. Since ive been outta hs i'm limited for play other than summer so ive found my self just hittin the wall and shootin everyday. Should I start emailing coaches now for my junior year. I'm looking at some d-3 schools that I would really love to go to without the option of lacrosse playing into it for the possibility I may not make the team.

I played at sandburg (chiefs) but got hurt at the end of my junior year but I didnt really like the coach and I never got the chance to play attack no matter how much I did so stopped my senior year. I went to Purdue my first semester and didnt like it so now ii'm back at moraine valley cc. Im lookin at colorado college and amherst would be sweet but I dont think i will get in. Just some smaller liberal arts colleges.
