i heard in canada players would sharpen the plastic on them to hurt people...so they were illegal or something.

nah, the damn plastic just broke off all the time, they tried a recall and making i2 visions and it still all cracked, so they were replaced again by a new icon box glove, i got three pairs out of the whole ordeal, all for stealing vision 1's to begin with, then i got 12's the next year and icon last year

Some NLL players wore them two seasons ago. I don't know if any still do.
Those shiny bits of plastic crap you used to see all over the turf were pieces of Visions.
They were banned for CLA box, because we play on polished concrete. That plastic crap on that type surface would present a severe slipping hazard, so it was a safety decision......No one needs a broken neck just because DeBeer skit the bed with that model of glove.
Too bad they're not tougher, they were really comfortable gloves!

they were the one pair that fit me real loose like I like them.....It was a shame.....
but a really poor idea, i mean the plastic was weak, they would have needed surlyn or something.....
regardless, a decent innovation......
You will see the oddball wear them, but pros get newer gloves every year, so they are rocking new gait gloves now...and will have newer ones this coming season

Yeah dude i bought a pair of a Canadian guy(i think it was Gavin Prout) at the worlds in perth for 50$Au at the time they were like 230$Au so i thought i was gettin a sweet deal until i realised there was no padding in the thumb anymore and after like a few weeks all the plastic started to break and when ever i bent my wrist there was a big gap were u could get checked on bare skin. I never head anything about them being illegal though.
