didn't see a thread on this game, so i decided to make one.

right now it is 2-0 to UNC with 6 min left in the first. updates come as they happen.

edit: i now realize that JHU is ranked 6th, not 4.

Zimmerman is having a spectacular game so far with 6 saves already. While Gvozden has yet to have a save. In fact, Hopkins has just made a goalie change. Trey Sheain in goal for Hopkins...made the first save of the game for Hop.
End of 1st.
North Carolina leading 4-0
The Blue Jays aren't doing so well...obviously.

If Hopkins drops to Duke next week and wins every game after that can you honestly put them in the tournament with a 8-5 record? Plus if they lose to Duke they are going into a huge game with Maryland on a 5 game losing streak. I know all Hopkins fans have been preaching "we turn it up in May" but how can you turn it up if your not there?

They def have to hit the panic button now. Your sitting at 3-4 with games at Duke, Maryland and at Navy. This team could very well come out at 3-7.

yes. the way princeton has handled themselves, hopkins has zero quality wins, and it doesnt look good for them in the month of april.

in another thread i said the blue jays can't hit the panic button, but right now they have to because nothing else has worked. I thinks its time to do something new, don't know what, but Petro's gotta do something to light a fire for his team.

wow...i shouldn't have let the hopkins fan's email affect my prediction...first draft only had UNC by 2...revised had Hop by 1...
Hopkins AGAIN looked sloppy...
also I pointed it out before Gvozden is not a great goalie...he has potential but he is a sub par right now...
Hopkins did not even come to play for 15 minutes let alone 60...
good win UNC...
it IS time to hit the panic button hopkins...

I have not been impressed with Gvozden, Ghittlman or Galloway this year. I know they are all very young but they seem to be the talk of the town. Galloway is mot impressive of the 3 though.

Just isn't Hopkin's season right now. They've got a really tough schedule. 8-5 and making it to the bracket? Possible, not impossible. Though they would have to fight their way all the way, every game to even make it to the final four and I don't see them doing it. Sorry Hopkins fans... =[ Win against Duke and I might think otherwise. Plus, I'd like to see Duke lose again. Congrads to the UNC boys. I really like what I'm seeing from them this season.
