i'm a physical, hard checking defensemen, and i have a problem with my heads getting either permanently bent to one side or just broken. i've broken an x2, 2 razers, and plenty of bionics. right now i have a mojo but its bent already and i've only had it for like a week. is there anything out there that doesnt bend, or do i have to keep going through 3 heads a year for the rest of my life?

Revo Pro, Mohawk mach 1 or mission or mission extreme or thunder, cyber pro, franchise are some good ones. Mohawk heads are beasts, they are a good bet.
Get a revo pro they're strong and last a long time.

unless you get a Shamrock The Rock head, your pretty much stuck going through 3 a year, because the Bionic and X2 are about the strongest you can get.

^^wow...
First of it's titanium, and just because they put titanium in the head, it doesn't mean its the strongest. I've seen one break. They are WAY over priced and pieces of crap.
I suggest:
1. Mohawk Mach 1
2. Mohawk Mission
3. Warrior Revolution (NOT REVO PRO. Revo Pros tend to warp at the throat, mine did and it pissed me off, I've seen 2 of them break. People that reccomend Revo pros have defenitatly never hit anybody with them, just looked at them--they are flimsy)
4. Brine Edge--the original is probably one of the best D heads out there
5. I've seen the Warrior Helix stand up to some pretty gruesome times. I reccomend that one too

Yeah, deffinetly don't get a revo pro. I made the mistake of picking one up last season, and sometimes I plat LSM, and its warped real badd from 2 or 3 games.

yea the evo and revo pro's arent good for d
they're stiff but they get warped and illegal really easily
your better off with an evo or revo 2.0
they're just as stiff and wider so they wont become illegal

Ya they arent as strong as warrior says, the store owner of the lax store I go to seriously bent his in 1 game.
For heads I would say the bionic. I have heard that Mohawk heads arent nearly as good as they used to make them.

One of the stiffest heads I've ever layed my hands on. The plastic mold looks pretty thick too so I think that would help some with the durability of the head.
Otherwise, try the Franchise. It's stiffer than any other head on the market IMO.

DONT get a revo pro.
My friend broke his from a hard PASS.
It also warped really bad at the throat.
I have a franchise.
They are really nice and so are the cyber pros.
Some of the stiffist ive felt yet.
I know the gait wizard is pretty stiff too but i hear its a pain to string.

Mohawk Mission. I own one. Positively the most durable and stiffest head I will ever use.

Now tell me that isn't the toughest looking head you've ever seen.

Most guys here have got it spot on. Ill just throw in my point of view.
Ill start with what not to get:
- Anything with "Pro" at the end of it. With the exception of maybe the Cyber. I felt it and it felt stiff, but im not sure how it will hold up otehr than that.
- Revo Pros tend to warp at the throat, mine did and it pissed me off, I've seen 2 of them break. People that reccomend Revo pros have defenitatly never hit anybody with them, just looked at them--they are flimsy)
Exactly my thoughts on it. Steer clear of it.
Things to look for:
The heads that are still in production that you should look at are;
- Brine: Franchise, Motive, Cyber Pro
- Warrior: Revolution, Revo 2.0
- STX: Bionic (I know you said youve broken heaps of them...), Xcalibur (Ditto), Proton+
- Harrow: H2
- Pretty much any MIL head as stated earlier.
No longer in production:
- Brine: Edge, Edge Plus
- Gait: Wizard
Ive probably forgotten heaps, its just a guidline.

Get a mohawk, wether it be a mission, mission extreme, thunder, mach 1. Mohawks are amazingly stiff and beefy, they are meant to mimick the stiffness of mohawks woodies. Not to mention this is a head you can buy without breaking the bank. Cut the bull, get a mohawk, end of disscusion.

I had a Revo Pro and the back of the throat where the screw broke from a slap check.
I'd said get a Razor 2.0... they are pretty strong the scoop doesn't really bend much and they have a good warranty.

Revo Pro, I play hard d and it's held-up wonderfully. It's heavier than a lot of heads but I think that that's a good thing.

original revo, those things are as stiff as anything, they weigh a bit more than the 2.0's and pros though
