the only think i could think of, if running itunes twice from different dirrectories.

for instance, save one to c/program files/itunes
and one to
c/program files/itunes2

dont know if that works.

if you have windows xp with two different profiles it should work. My profile has all my music on it and the family one has no muisc, so you could have your playlist and hers. thats the only way i know how.

No no no, pumba just do this: Keep 1 itunes library then set both up to sync to a certain playlist.

So when you connect your iPod yours syncs to "Pumba's iPod" playlist.
When your mom connects her ipod, hers will sync to "Mrs. Pumba's iPod".

Oh and spell check you farking aussie.

I just was told today that at my local mac store, I get a 20% discount off all ipods with my student ID card. SWEET! I've been thinking about getting one for a year...but if I do, I'm going to pay for all of it, which is a little steep for me.

My moms worth it but i don't have that much money. Aren't you like 13 too? How does a 13yr old have that much $$?

But the idea with two profiles on XP works really well. I personally dont have an Ipod but it does keep the libraries seperated in the windows music player deal. Makes other things more organized too (documents etc.). I would do it even if you synch the Ipods, plus no more parents ... finding.... things.. that they wouldn't ... aprove of..... :naughty:

Pf.

1. Hidden folder.
2. If they find that, password protected.
3. External Hard drive, which i keep under lock and key, plus i have an extra linux HD. :-D

A little off topic, I hide my folders which contain personal data about my finances and social security number, how do you password protect though? Im too poor for an external hd and im afraid of Linux so i need a good way to ... prevent identitty theft. hehehe

hidden folders are easy. right click folder, properties, click hidden. To see go to tools, folder options, view --> show/do not show hidden files and folders.

Not sure how to pw protect.

dont you just put everything into a zipper folder, eh i think thats what their called...then it has you make a password for it... i did it once but got annoyed by it. i didnt have a reason to hide any of my things from my parents. but i a zipper folder is what you need (compressed).
