get a trakker pro kit and you only will have to string the sides and top

I've never strung a girls stick before but I'm pretty sure its just a guys traditional without a pocket. Just ask to borrow a girls head thats already strung and copy that

It's just a traditional pocket, but there are some more regulations. I think the crosslace can only cross each leather 8-12 times. And it can have no more than 2 shooting strings. I'm not sure if hockey laces are illegal, or just never used.

You can't have more than 5 leathers as well. I'm pretty sure anything vertical counts as a leather

Hockey laces ARE illegal.

Here's a thread: http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=96408 (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=96408) that shows some details of one of my favorite stringing techniques I use for stringing girls sticks.

You can use 4 or 5 vertical elements (leathers) and have 8 to 12 horizontal elements (knots along each leather) and have up to two shooters -- made out of string, but not laces.

Keep the outside leathers as tight as possible. Keep the inside leathers as paralell and apart as possible to create a channel. The two inside leathers will be the ones that ocassionally get readjusted to stay legal. The ball must show above the side rail (when viewed from the side) to be legal.

Good Luck.
