During fall ball this year, all of the UNC players were using Pro7s. (can't find a pic, but there is a video on ILTV that showed them wearing them)
Now though, they're back to wearing their CPXs from last year. Does anyone know why this is happening?

they were one of the few that realized the CPXTi is way better

When Pro 7 Ti's come out (if they come out) I think a lot of teams/players will switch back over.

because they opened their eyes and realized that the pro7 is ugly

the pro7s are actually pretty ballin, but as stated above they're probably waiting on the ti's.....i've never used a ti mask but anyone who i no who used one can't go back to normal mask cus of weight issues, i no its only like a 4oz difference but supposivily that 4oz makes a difference...you'll see them rockin' the ti's when they come out

yeah the TI is a big difference once you get used to it. its weird how that small weight makes such a difference when you switch over.

the pro7 is heavier, but has better weight distribution, so it should feel lighter than the cpx ti. at least that's what i've heard.

propably a balance issue. note that they use tungsten facemasks so maybe the balance is throw off with the lighter facemask

The cost of titanium keeps going up and the vendors are making less and less on it each year. I don't expect to see a Ti Pro 7 anytime soon

yeah, that would really be a problem to have the weight be way lighter on the facemask from the rest of the helmet, it would feel really off, i get what you're sayin
