Tony,
When Warrior publicizes your story, could you send it to me too? If you can, either PM or email me (wingslacrosse@yahoo.com) your story, so I can post it up on my website. I think that would be an amazing story, that my readers would love to read. Everyone loves a happy ending.
Thanks man
Matt
it will be on the warrior website under the player makeover and then a letter from my mom in the new section

wow you got some nice stuff. Good for you.
Did you email warrior and told them the story? or did you have old stuff to take the pic and kinda detailed about the story..either way it's good for you
i told them my story and how i would have to borrow team equipment if i didn't win, which i would have. i didn't send a pic with any gear because i didn't have any, so they asked for pictures with me and my parents, and asked for pics of all of us with warrior stuff on

seriously, for all of you anti warrior haters, you have nothing to say here. I, like many others here are wish the best for tony's dad, and warrior did a truly kind thing by donating this gear. Lets remember that although warrior is now backed up by a billion dollar company, they started out as the little guys, next to brine and stx. The founder was a player himself and worked his way up to create probably the largest lacrosse company in the world. Take away the advertising, the crude ads and symbols, and warrior really helps the people who matter most: the players. Everyone here can honestly say that they would have liked to see tony over any other person in the world to receive this gear. Like i said before, I wish your dad the best of luck, and maybe all the warrior haters here can be silence for a full day, if we're lucky. And for those who thought that everyone has no chance to win the warrior makeover contest, we already have 2 winners from the TLF board alone.

Ummm, you said it already....all i can offer is a weak "ditto". While I probably won't buy stuff that I think'll break on me, you have to respect any company (no matter how they advertise) that does something like this...and a player who does something like that. The contest was done for publicity, but they could've given the equipment to someone else. Unless the guy responsible feels taken advantage of (it's hard to feel like that with free gear) then don't blame warrior. They'll show how classy they are when they present his story.
This is what lax is all about.

that is absolutely amazing, congrats you truly deserve it. Warrior didn't skimp either, looks like everything is their top-of-the-line gear (except ltd Mac's which are worthless on field).
few questions,
1) How is your dad?
2) What did he have surgery for?
3) Did Warrior contact your parents to corroborate your story?
either way, still amazingly wonderful they did it.
