I'm pretty sure the seasons do change. Our part of the world is tilted away from the sun right now, making it winter. I think it's summer/spring in South America and such. Maybe I'm crazy.

chris you just lost a bet. hahaha, like enjoi said, our winter is their summer. our summer is their winter. so if you made this bet in our summertime, you would've won.

yes across the equator seasons change, the water in the toilet when you flush spins the opposite direct, same with tornadoes and hurricanes, and there is less oxygen in the southern hemisphere, which would account for aussie and pumba's (former) mispellings, and dogs walk people, and people shove food up their bum and it comes out their mouth

hoT christmas will happen in melbourne for sure
the days have been hitting 30 in late spring days.
I went to a white christmas in Austria and there was snow there on the 22nd but it didnt snow again. So our christmas wasnt really white, and just my luck it was the first time in 20 years that they hadn't had a white christmas.
But the USA New Years made it up. Snowing while waiting for Fireworks and ice skating in Boston was great.
But a hot christmas is great fun. Just jump in da pool and its all good
