How are the gloves supposed to fit? I mean, are they supposed to have room in the fingers or should they be skin tight.

it depends on the gloves and the player's preference. some players perfer more room and others perfer less.
also gloves like the defts are verry loose and gloves like the exodus are very tight

its all what you think is more comfortable. I have Gait insanities that fit extremely loose based on my preference.

gloves tend to expand so what seems like a tight fit will continue to just get looser and looser. My defts used to feel really tight on my hands and i loved that, not i can't even grip my hands around my shaft anymore because they are too big.
