This came to thought quite a while ago, but i was to lazy to actually ask. Say the goalie goes outside of the crease, and gets the ball. Can he intentionally throw it in the crease. ( WHole NOT Haveing FOOT IN IT) and then run into it to get it?
Why would a golie do this you ask?
- If hes being chased and no one is open. Rules also say that the other team cant come in the crease. By doing this he could be safe in the crease and have 4 seconds to pass the ball!

No. It's explicitly illegal.

What if he faked it real well, like it was on the ground and he kicked it.?

Unless the Goalie is right outside the crease, throwing the ball into the crease is almost defensive suicide (even if he makes it look unintentional). If the goalie is above GLE, almost any toss back to the crease has a good chance of going in the goal. True, the attackman cannot step into the crease, but he can reach in with his stick and scoop or hit the ball out of the crease. Plus with the goalie outside of the crease, the riding attack can legally prevent the goalie from getting to the loose bal in the crease as long as they are within 5 yards of the ball. A1 ties up the goalie and A2 scoops up the ball without going into the crease. A2 yells release, A1 disengages from the goalie and A2 has an easy shot.

Well ILF rules explicitly allow it one time(!) (to throw the ball into the net (from the back side to gain 4 more seconds)....
as well the other goalie of our team dose this, he drops the ball shortly before entering the crease then runs through the crease and picks it up. (the opponent must run around the crease what gives him an advantage of 2 yards ...)
