My umpteenth goalie stringing, first one to post on here, and also first one that doesn't have mad whip. My version of the magic wand pocket. I strung it for the middle school team I help coach. I didn't want a big channel, because the kid that plays goalie is inexperienced at clearing.

it looks really good. you make a longer bottom string that crosses, so you the pocket is a bit deeper but the ball still wont come out.

Very nice, but you may want to burn the ends of your shooters so they dont fray.

you might want to put a u shooting string i know it is untraditional for a goalie but if he is inexperianced at clearing it would help and feel more like a normal head
