Hey guys, I haven't done a stringing in a while, so I thought I'd try and give my Helix a good pocket. The thing is, I can't seem to get the sidewall pattern just right, but just when I did, I tested it for performance and my shot went straight down, or it was a bumpy release. Anyone know what my problem might be?

Your U is pretty tight looking and your sidewalls are kinda loose, which is probably why your pocket is throwing down. Just tighten up your sidewalls and loosen your shooters, and you should be fine.

it looks like your shooters are too tight and i would put in another shooter above the top shooter and tighten that one almost all the way and loosen your other two... thats what i usually do and it should help

the sidewall strings are pretty tight, I guess I'll tighten them some more, and loosen the U as well and see how that does
ill get back to you all

i suggest putting two straight shooters up more at the top and make a wider U and not a V

ok, I strung the pocket with..
- a loose U and 2 straights
- a loose U and 1 straight
- 3 straights (loose to tight ; bottom to top)
all seemed to not work that well, my sidearm is going all over the place, to the right primarily.. but my reg shot is still plummeting straight down, I'm starting to believe its my mesh now.. can anyone help me?
