Ive strung big words, trads, pitas, corners, mesh x;s and more. I felt it was time to do a more advanced pocket so I thought either HEAT or ROCKET POCKET. I chose heat. I looked at JayWaps pics to try and figure it out but I did make a few errors.

I should have had more interlocking knots, smaller saddle, probably did the coil wrong, tighter interlocking and more. Its probably a matter of doing a few more and also getting them to be a little cleaner.

NICE!

but I don't see the point of coiling the crosslace around the sidewalls.

The coiling is wrong...you are supposed to start from the outside...and then do two layers...it should go to the interlocking knots through the middle.

The outside part is wrong. Its hard to explain though. And try to make them twists instead of coils. Otherwise its good.

As stated, your outters and coils are wrong. But, it's still awesome. I've done a few and they're way tough and take a while, so really, awesome job.

Very nice looking. I got try one of these customs sometime. You think 10 yrds would be enough for a basic custom?

hmmm thanks for the comments

so for the outers, was I supposed to twist to the inside and not the outside like I did?

and for the coil, I really had no idea what I was doing, his pics didnt help me much

and the coils on the sidewall were cuz of the xtra xlace and I didnt have scissors
