A few upsets, a monster ACC battle, and a statement win by the Duke Blue Devils may shuffle the top 20 this week. Syracuse may hold onto the No. 1 spot with a 13-6 win over Princeton, but it's hard to argue Duke's 17-6 throttling of Hopkins wasn't more impressive.

Virginia found itself down by three goals with under four minutes remaining in regulation at No. 6 North Carolina before mounting a fierce comeback to force overtime and escape Fetzer Field with a 12-11 win. The victory clinches the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament for the Cavs behind Duke (2-0) and Maryland (2-1).

Navy will likely improve its No. 9 ranking with a methodical defensive victory over No. 3 Maryland at Byrd Stadium, 5-4. And Denver opened its Great Western Lacrosse League campaign by stunning No. 7 Notre Dame at Chicago's Toyota Park, 9-8. That's a road win over a top 10 opponent for the Pioneers (7-4, 1-0 GWLL).

Virginia moved up to No. 3, even though Maryland beat both the Cavaliers and Carolina, but couldn't drop the Terps below Georgetown. The Hoyas beat Mt. St. Mary's and Fairfield, but Maryland is 3-2 against the top ten and beat the Hoyas 13-8 earlier in the season.
