i know you should try to get noticed.. go to a lot of camps and introduce yourself to coaches etc... but any other tips on getting recruited.. i mean its not like a coach is gonna come to oregon to pick up players.. lol.. yeah thats unlikely .. and also do grades count a lot?

Are there Any "prep School" Like tours? ( i was reffering to hockey because we go on prep school tours to get noticed and recruted)

If you want to play for a school, say Middlebury, find out the coaches e-mail and drop him a line. Get you name into his head. Send him your stats, a game tape of your best game and a highlight tape of yourself. If you show the interest the coach will show an interest in you. A coach would rather have an alright kid whos loves to play for him than a snob good kid.

I am not totally sure about some of that. I am from california and wanted to play lax in college so i just played the best i could and saw what happened. Granted that i have a lot of lacrosse connections because of my coaches etc, i had to become better than most of the kids around me. Then i emailed coaches everynight for a week or two. then i saw who responded and kept in contact. I then tried to arrange visits and saw what i would ahve to do to go to the school. Finally i gave up and said i dont really care. I played in summer tournaments and school games and actually had some coaches COME TO ME. From there i chose the best financial situation and i might transfer to a better team now that i am out here and getting better exposure. Goood luck and dont be afraid to call coaches. It CANNOT HURT!!!! It really cant
