View Full Version : FS Wood Lacrosse Shafts

I make wood lacrosse shafts. I make them from solid white oak. Dimentions are accurate to specs (17/16" x 7/8"). I can do both Defence and Shorties. I stain them twice with a light pecan color, then add 2 coats of clear polyurethane.

These sticks cost a flat $40 shipped.

I can also make a customized shaft (text, graphics, etc.) for prices starting at $50.

From what I hear, solid oak shafts are stronger than titanium shafts. It makes sense, its basically a 1" wide version of a wood front door.

I can post pics if you ask.

If your interested you can e-mail me at vengeancelacrosse@gmail.com
or send me a PM

I use a lazer printer to print a flipped image then use a special tool to melt the ink onto the wood. So basically I can do anything (but only if its black and white and there is no grey). There is a possiblily to get color, but that involves a trip to kinkos or something.

zachattack- i might be interested in the wonderboy. im definatly interested in the cash
tallred-i dont need any heads, what else do you have to trade?
agp- what do you have to trade.
achratsx20- see above. if you are interested in getting a custom shaft, then definatly send me an e-mail detailing exactly what you want. vengeancelacrosse@gmail.com and i'll let you know what i can do for you

Im not really a trader, but there are a couple things i might want. so offer everything your willing to trade.

04-08-2008, 12:44 PM
shadow- i can do d-poles, a stock dpole is $50 shipped.
agp- i'd be willing to do a straight swap on that evo. even though im selling my dpoles for $50, i take a $20 hit when i ship.

agp

i can give you the wonderboy and this finalizer...it has a perfect pocket but there is a broken sidewall..i ouwld still use it but i got an x2 and it seems like you would be able to fix it rather easily since you can make your own shafts

shadowelite84
04-08-2008, 12:59 PM
do u charge anymore for it? and l8r i will put up a list of what i am willing to trade. what are u looking for?

zachattack8020

is there a way you can custom color the entire shaft?

theCanadian
04-08-2008, 01:05 PM
zackattack- i already have a working finalizer, im actually looking to pair up agp's evo with the wonderboy. you can keep your heads.

shadowelite- i apply my own logo to all sticks that dont have a custom logo ordered. im actually looking to get a start-up biz going, so what would you be willing to pay for something like that? also just offer everything you have. im not sure what i'd be willing to go for.

shadowelite84
04-08-2008, 01:08 PM
i would really, but u also got to think about how high the price is already and look at your target consumer. i mean some people might, but im sure they would prefer to not pay for it.
do u want me to pm u tonight or just post on here

post or email is best. too many PM fills up the inbox.

also as for coloring the entire shaft i can put a thin coat of like paint stuff on so that the wood still shows through, or if you dont want to see the grain i can just do it solid.

theCanadian

theCanadian

ok first up. White oak is basically the same strength as hickory, but I think oak has more flex to it. If you want to look it up just Google "wood strength". As for a warranty.... Yea I can any shaft that you break so long as it broke normally. If you break it by sawing it in half, tough luck.

As for price, I can knock them down a bit. The prices I'm giving you include shipping, and D-poles are bloody expensive to ship.

Since you guys think that my prices are a little too high, I have decided that customized sticks will cost $45 dollars for shorties and $50 for long poles, no extra charges for supplies or large amounts of labor.

Regular sticks will cost $35 for shorties and $45 for long poles.

Zach- Yes i can do custom colors.

here are my pics
I start with this:
