what do you guys think is the average number of points per season that a starting attackman gets?
i think different positions play a role, like the X attackman gets a lot more assists, and the right wing gets a lot more goals (which is why i love the point system cause they're worth the same!)
points = goals + assists.
any ideas on an average???

those numbers are really low, i had around 20 points last season and we lost every game miserably.

There's so many factors involved. Depth of the roster, schedule strength, etc. all play a big part. If you've got a school that plays scrub teams all the time, and wins games by 15+ goals all the time, point totals are going to be higher. At the same time, someone from a competitive conference won't put up as many. It's not uncommon at all that someone might have 40 points in a season and be a million times better than someone who puts up 100.

My team isn't doing to well this year. I already have 7 points in 2 games. Where as there are some other teams that are a ton better where the average kid has about 3-4 points. Depends on the team and schedule like Farny said.

I have probably around 12-15 goals and probably 5-10 assists. I only take 2-3 shots a game though, so if I took more shots, I could probably get way more goals. We've played 6 games and lost 1 so far.

6 games in I have 5 goals and 13 assists for 18 points, but I am a midfielder. I think the kid who won our areas scoring title last year finished with something like 97 points and he was an attackman.

Those numbers are pretty low. I think that high school is higher scoring than college and more people are played then in a college game so more kids will have a higher amount of points
