I'm shocked nobody has made a thread about this yet. It's on ESPNU right now. Scores? Predictions?
I say Duke beats Virginia 11-9, myself.
jeez, Quinzani has 5 goals already...

they went on like a crazy scoring streak lol
Edit- Quinzani has scored 7 goals now, 16-9 Duke. 12:55 in the 4th. UVA made a goal change so now Gilman is in.

Na he started but he was just letting way too much through so they changed him. 18-9 Nick Ohara just scored for Duke.

I leave to eat dinner the score is 9-9 I get back and it's 18-9. Is there any doubt that Duke is the number 1 team in the nation.

Thats just crazy for Duke to score so many against UVa, but I've come to expect it from Duke....

Final was 19-9, Virginia was able to hold off Duke for the final minutes but couldn't capitalize on any scoring oppportunities.

Anyone else besides me surprised that Max Quinzani actually leads Duke (and the nation) in goals this year?! Last year it was Greer with 67, and the next closest was Danowski at 44. This has really been a great season for Quinzani.

i think that it would have been a much different game if petit doesnt get injured. because he was playing great against them. but as the game went along that hip was really bothering him.

It wasnt just Petit, UVA defense looked lost half the game. Quinzani is a beast. Every time the game would be tied it seemed like Duke said: "Oh, looks like we'll have to start playing again," and score 5 goals in a row. This was another game that made the statement Duke is #1.

Not really, Greer hs really improved himself as an overall player notching a lot more assists than usual. Quinzani really just shoots very well and takes advantage of the players hes around. Everyone get on Greer and Dano and he just cuts and quicksticks goals like nothing.

I dont think Greer had an assist that whole game.

thats not the point, that was just this game, last year, after 21 games, he had a Total of 27 assists, now, at this point, through only 13 games, he has 21 assists. he obviously improved that part of his game.

Wow i didn't think it would be a blow out. You would think that it would have been a really tight game.
