So I went and visited with a coach today and wasn't able to get any one on one time cause of all the other recruits. What should I do? What would give him more incentive to want me on his team? What should I think of this?

Find a coach that really wants you. Other coaches will follow. Basically what CtRidgeGoalie said.

The coach at Presby really wants me, I mean, should I transfer to the school I'm trying to play at and try and walk on? I feel I could play and maybe even start after watching their game but Idk if there would be room for me to walk on. What should I do here man?

I agree. If the coach was very interested he would have made time for you to meet with him. Him not taking the time to meet with you after you went out of your way to visit shows a lot about his character.

Yea but he's got alot of recruits and not much time on his hands. I just started playing and again not to brag, but I have really caught on quick and have actually been playing alot of offense instead of defense.

I have read some of your other posts about transfering and you were talking about the Mount and Presby. Not to be a hater but, while the Mount is having a down period, the Mount is usually a good team. The MAAC conference is very cyclical. There is lots of turn over in the standings from year to year, no real dominate team for periods longer than a couple years. The top MAAC calibur players will go to schools where they can start/play right away, usually. So this next class of recruits for the Mount might be the turning point class for the program. This is coming from someone who spent 4 years in the MAAC conference. Now Presby is a second year D1 program. That is a hard sell to top flight players especially after this last season. I think that this would be your best bet for making a team at the D1 level of the schools you mentioned. What is really puzzling is that you are deliberating between a Catholic and Presbyterian schools. I guess affiliation doesn't matter. You could always look at Wagner College up on Staten Island.

Well I went to talk to coach Childs at Presby and he said he wants me on his team because I looked like an athlete and from the interview could tell I would be a hard worker and determined to better myself. The thing is that I really want to stay close to home (Mount) and I'm catholic (Mount) and I want to play somewhere a little better and against harder competition (Mount). I know beggars can't be choosers but thats why I put this post up, to find out what I need to do to show him that I am I very hard worker, a good leader, and an athlete with good character. Again I'm a humble person and I'm really not trying to brag but I really feel that from only playing 1 year of lax so far I've come a very tremendous way. I can play with both hands pretty well and am very quick and very good with ground balls. I don't have all the stick work down to a T yet but I know it will get much better over the summer. I'm just trying to find a way to sell myself to him. Any thoughts?
