this is more for sticks than equipment in general

how many of you stick to the "flexy head for attack, stiff head for D" rule of thumb? a friend of mine playing attack picked up a revo pro lately, its a head i've always liked and i'm thinking about picking one up (im a middie) rather than the deuce i have now

i'm wondering if any of you have ever done this, or do you generally stick with the attack heads for attacks and the d heads for d, goes for shafts as well...

Well, Ive tried to be different and used a non-D oriented head...didnt work.

Attack and Mid-Field can use anything really, us D...not so much.

Last year in just my rec and summer season I used an evo pro and a helix for defense, the helix warped, so I bought the evo pro and now that's broken in 2 places

I used a proton power for defense. I actually didn't mind it and it seemed to work well. But i sold it anyways.

i stick to it, last year i used my friends answer (i play D) i gave it like a permanent bend after 1 hard pokecheck, so now i use a revo 2.0

theres a kid who plays attack on my team tho who uses a revo pro i think but its his backup stick

I played attack with an X2 and a Revo Pro in HS. There are dpoles on my team that use clutches and PP's and Evo/Revo 2.0's. When you're good enough, its just preference.

Ive been using a helix on my dpole as of late... Its very nice

Ive used everything though. I break like a head every 2 weeks or so, so i use whatever i get my hands on

ive used
evo, revo, razer, gforce, helix, x2, proton, edge, wizard, mojo, cluthes, PP. Pretty much all heads.

It honestly makes no difference to me what head I use. The difference in pinch is too small for me to notice. I'm sure there is a difference, but I don't care because 1) i can't tell and 2) the difference is not that big. I just stick to the heads that are easy for me to string/get a good pocket in.

there is no specification of there being a certain d or attack head out there, it's just a common misconseption that people think you have to have a wicked stiff head for d and face-off guys need to have flexy heads, when in all actuality anyone can use any head they want, it's really just personal preference on what to get not what everyone else has
