if you get enough spin on it, ya it could work.

it can also work on grass fields that have inconsistent terrain.

yea it is I think. I'm pretty sure I did it in practice while warming up the goalie, I can't explain how to do it, like I did it intentionally but its just something you gotta feel if that makes sense

rotate the stick so that the face is towards the sky when your shooting. it will put some spin on the ball, which makes it move somewhat when it hits the ground, but dont expect it to move sideways more than 2 inches or so.

Yeah u can ive done it before all u have to do is while you're shooting, with your bottom hand, twist the stick hard. So if you spin it clockwise the ball will bounce left and if you spin it counter clockwise the ball will bounce right. Soooooo a good thing to use this for is to bounce it to the opposite side you want the ball to go to. It will completely fake out the goalie.
*NOTE* You need to have a grippy ball to do this. An old ball with no grip will not spin.

It think it depends on where the ball lands on the turf/grass, it may have a little bump causing it to curve. You can't put enough spin on the ball to make it curve.

Kind of. True you can't actually curve the ball, but you can put spin on the ball to alter the shot when it hits the floor. It's been performed in box with smooth, concrete floors for years.

As for the "curve", don't think of it as a curve like you would expect a baseball to curve, it's more like how billiards players will put spin on the cue ball to get it to deflect off the wall in a different direction. Actually curving the ball in mid-air is next to impossible, because there are only a small amount of imperfections in the ball that would catch the air and cause it to change its flight pattern.

Yeah curving a bounce shot is definitely possible, assuming a good surface. Astroturf is the best for it but the new turf works decent. It's possible on some grass as well but it's not as drastic and when I do it I'm not confident I didn't just hit uneven ground. On turf though it can be quite drastic. Enough to fake a goalie out. My favorite is to bounce a ways out and curve it up into top left corner which works best with left handed goalies obviously. It also works well from a bad angle with the goalie up against the pipe if you bounce just outside the goalies foot and curve it up into the back corner.

It only really works with a straight overhand shot. You just roll the stick with your bottom hand as you release the ball. I learned it when Tom Marecheck came to a camp I went to a while back and did it. It's hard to explain the timing. You just have to try it and you'll sort of get a feel for it. I've done it so much it's just a part of my shooting motion now and I have to focus not to do it.

As far as curving in the air I can do that too but only kinda. Going topshelf on a sidearm from outside it'll curve a little. A couple goalies have commented but it's not enough to fake a goalie out. It's not from doing anything special. I think the way my stick is strung it just has a bit of grip on the ball and gives it back spin. I played with a ball one time that had little dents all over it and it actually curved pretty well in the air.

Curving in the air can be done. I've seen my coach do it to everybody's amazement, it curved a solid 10 inches over an 8 yard pass.

last year my coach would show off by curving it, its all about right when you release you like flick your wrists towards a direction and try to get good backspin

There has been a discussion on that video. http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=107405&highlight=curving+shot
At the end of the thread there are even more links to threads discussing curve shots.

I can do it, I just recently got it to work. I'll try to get a video up from behind where I'm shooting. The best curve I've gotten is about a foot and a half to the right after the bounce, it hit the ground about 4.5 feet in front of the net
