Price and weight. I have had both in shorty version, and the Sc+Ti is lighter by far. Makes it feel top heavy with a Proton Power.
The Dolomite is heavier, but because it is made with a different alloy. I just bought an Sc+Ti pole and it should be getting here shortly. If you want to hang on for a little bit, I could tell you what I think of it after a practice or two.

id pick the dolo over the sc+ti. dolos are a tiny bit heavier but are by no means "heavy" their walls are a tiny bit thicker and they cost a lot less

not a fan of the sci+ti. They feel way to flimsy and weak. The dolomite is the better value IMO

I can get the Dolo for 166 or the sc+ti for 194 if it makes any difference.

I have a Sci+ti shorty, and i love the hell out of it. Ive played with a dolo, and it was just so-so. Then again, I didnt have to pay that much for my Sci+ti, so i guess im really overly satisfied with mine.

Both shafts are very high quality, you can't really go wrong with either.

Yeah, thats what i've heard. Im just wondering if the extra 30-40 dollars is worth it?
