i got my answer today, the pinch is really nice, however i dont believe it is as extreme as e-lacrosse makes it seem, it is also verrrry light. hopefully i will get a more in depth review after i get some game experience with it this weekend

Mine came in yesterday. They sent me an Ignite Supra with it instead of a normal Ignite. Should make for one kick *** stick. The pinch isn't a narrow as it looks, but that's good for me because I plan on playing D with it.

has anyone else noticed that brine's original versions of heads are always really pinched...and then the head gets wider as the years pass? For example...

the cyber: although many dont notice it, I recently compared my friends cyber (he got it when it first came out) and the one i bought just a year ago. the pinch isnt even close (and no, he didnt pinch it himself)
the matrix: had to widen it up for valid reasons, but still.
the nitrous: not sure about this but i heard somewhere they did
the vapor: oh dear god. brine ruined the best value for a lax head ever made. the pinch on the vapor used to be sick. nearly as pinched as an evo pro these days. but what did brine do? the stick is widened up, and I cannot forgive brine for this.

and because of this, i say the answer's pinch will be widened up in 1-2 years.

Well, I have nothing to worry about. If mine breaks before they re-pinch it, I'll buy a new one. They're cheap.

its pretty easy to pinch a head anyways, once you get used to doing it at least. stringing it on the other hand ....................i alsways find a way to screw it up

Lax, I agree. I was so pissed when I got my vapor and it was all wide and really stiff. The old one had an awesome pinch and it was bendy, and I liked it that way. I sold mine cause it was disappointing.

Probably but it still wouldn't be the same.

I know man. Its ridiculous. heads are supposed to get BETTER with the newer versions of em....not worse! Now that the vapors so wide its pretty much a below average head...pretty wide, not that offset, and stiff. And may i add that the cyber, now wider, is also a weak piece of crap. Remember that thread about cybers breaking? Notice that the people who had their cybers for 3-4 years were still intact and they loved em...but the people with more recent cybers had cracks all in the same area? This is why I hate brine. I cant trust them. None of my gear is brine (cept for my nitrous which i got for practically free), and I'm hesitant to buy a python at this point.

Maybe they widened the Vapor up to gear it more towards new players? I dunno. Doesn't make sense to me. I mean my favorite head is my Edge along with my Revo, but Brine definitely ruined the Vapor. I would've bought one but I hear how they widened it up. Ruined it for me.
