As for the help section of this thread, the edge has a very wierd sidewall, it curve up and down and where the ball sits, it seems to be illegal if you measure from the bottom of the sidewall, which is at that point, the top of an arch. Can someone tell me where a ref would measure pocket depth from so I know if its actually legal or not. Pics help and are right here. BTW, i'd never use this in a game, I'm just curious.

To answer all questions, head was made sometime in the mid 90's as an alumni from my school told me he had one when it first came out and he was in school and he graduated from our school like 1997? I dont know, but the head is from the 90's. They don't make it anymore. Its called an Edge Ice. Is it legal? Thats what I wanna know. Mod, refs, anyone, opinions on that?

it is illegal. the little peaks are not the sidewall. But the stringing looks good

pretty sure the pocket illegal there was a thread awhile back about where to measure the pocket for the GForce because of the tabs on the sidewall i think this would fit in the same area as far good idea not using it in a game those things snap like toothpicks

RP looks great though always wanted to try one out for myself on a cyber

does the plutonium kryptopro glow in the dark noticeably or is it just a gimmick?

Most referees I would assume and immediately think that if they see sky between the ball and the sidewall, they will call it illegal.

I believe that the official rule is that if the ball sits below the lowest point of the sidewall, then it is illegal, so you should be judging it from where the lowest wave is on the sidewall, as long as the width of the sidewall meets regulation on measurements, 2 inches.

So that looks legal, but I wouldnt ever use that head in these days, such a classic and collector. Keep it mint.

Nice the second stringing looks 10 times better than the first.

It does, but to get a good glow, it needs to be in sunlight for hours, so I leave it on the windowsill of every class I go to when I bring it to school for maximum absorption.

My sentiments exactly. Collectors item, wewt.

I didn't get the joke at all by the way.

It was in a simpsons episode where Homer was to win employee of the week because it was a union rule that every employee had to win once but Homer was the only person not to win it. Mr. Burns steps out on the balcony and says, "And they employee of the week goes to....This inanimate plutonium rod.", thus Homer didn't win the award. My plutonium krypto glows like that rod looked in the episode. Hence the joke. Cat's out of the bag...
