hey guys!
i have been asked the question "can u remove dye from a head? and if so how?" multiple times and frankly i didn't know so i decided to try it out...i took an old head and did a 5 min. dye job just for this "experement"

first i tryed bleach which after 15 min. did not work...http://thumbs.webshots.com/sym/na3/2/59/39/78325939cEdaeu_th.jpg
then i tryed RIT COLOR REMOVER

after bring the water to a boil i turned the temp down to bring the water to a simer and then added the remover (which smelled god aweful) then droped in the head

i let it sit for about 20 min. to get as much dye off as i could

after i saw that the dye was no longer fading i took it out of the pot and let it sit to cool the end result was a much lighter color than befor

so in the end u can see that the dye remover worked to a certain degree... so the answer to the question "can u remove dye from a head? and if so how?" is yes to a certain degree and with RIT COLOR REMOVER... but if u have dark colors, in my case green, it will only make it lighter but a lot lighter and if u have colors like yellows or other light colors it will almost compleatly come off

so guys i hope that helps u in future dying and keep laxin' :agree

yea i like this, it's a great thing to know about this sort of stuff... i just wish the pics were slightly larger... the limit is 100000 bytes and you only used 1170... so if you could, that'd be awesome!

yes this si a good help. Perhaps you coukd make a simple webpage to deminstate this stuff better, so you have more room. But this works good also!

well the pics in full size take up the whole page and i can't cut em down so i have to leave them as thumnails... and the site will only allow me to put one pic on ate once
