{Help} Rolled shooters

What is the point of rolling your shooters? Does it give you more hold? and does anyone have any tips for rolling them?

it gives a smoother release and isn't as prone to whip in bad weather. On the other hand, its very difficult to get a lot of hold if you want a smooth release. I say experiment and see what works best for you

start it with a weaved for hold and then put on a rolled on the end for the best of both IMO

I do rolled shooters. They just seem to work better for me as far as getting the right tension and are easier to adjust. I don't have a problem getting whip if needed or hold.

As far a s tips my recommendation would be to string it up loose first then go back and tighten each loop one by one and make sure you have a little tension on the center string.

when i strung my stick with rolled, it was noticable how much faster the ball comes out. thats just me, i dont know about anyone else.
