My friend says that gary Gait only shot 70's in his prime , when i believe he shot low 90s or high 80s, like 88 or 89.

Does anyone know this answer?

we have a bet going.

Your friend was likely told this by a coach to be convinced that shot placement and variety were more important than shot speed.

The Gait's are 6'2, 220 pounds apiece. Do you REALLY think they can just shoot in the 70's, using generous amounts of whip?

there is absolutely NO WAY Gary Gait shot only in the 70s in his prime! I am a high school freshman and I can shoot high 70s, maybe low 80s, and Gary Gait can definitely shoot faster than me.

Haha, if The Gaits shoot 70 then I shoot faster.
I don't think so.
I hit 80 in Box last year.

No, no no no no.

I shoot high 70s and have hit low 80s. Theres no way in hell the gaits have a slower shot than me.

Not that there's any connection--but G Gait scored a 2 point goal BEHIND THE BACK

I'd say the man can BRING IT...
