ok this is my first year goaltending, for school at least. but its relativly to for me compared to all the other ones i know. so the problem that has held me back from the start and from starting is my stepping. it is liek my only problem besides some minor positional things. but my stepping is the major. iv been having my feet farther apart and it was really hard. i started having my feet shoulder width maybe apart and i am liek beast all of a sudden. today i stuffed the goalie coach in warm ups which is liek unheard of for me.

so is doing that the right way? oh and also i have some problems ''leading'' shooters. almost every time they are running cross box they get past me. do i stay infron of them or behind them?

your goalie stance should have your feet about shoulder width apart, maybe slight further if its comfy.... ive always been taught that your goalie stance should be a "comfortable athletic stance as any other sport" if that makes sense

There is a goalie section too. Just a heads up.
