ok so i didnt know where to post this and i put it in the like west coast forum but it should be in an open forum and well most likely girls will know better than guys. so if a moderator doesnt like it they can delete the threads or something but i didnt know what to do. anyway if anyone lives in San Francisco and goes to abercrombie can u let me know? cuz well i know someone who models for abercrombie and someone told him that they know someone in san francisico who saw him on the bags and im trying to figure out if its true and if at all possible get a look at the pictures. wow this sounds like the dumbest thread ever i apologize in advance. but if someone actually does know that would be pretty awesome thanks

I'm almost positive that all Abercrombies use the same bags, I don't know why they wouldn't. When I went to Boston they had the same bags as at the one in my hometown. Maybe San Fransico is different, so I dunno, but I'm guessing they all have the same ones, so, I guess what I'm saying is, go to your local A&F and check it out for yourself.

I was there yesterday, and I didn't see your friend modeling. Sorry to break it to you.

You said you were dating this guy and that he was an abercrombie model. Can't you just have him get you a bag? Unless that was a fabrication...

ok so supposively it was there over the summer. but see hes like embarrassed and gets mad when people find out that he models. i havent even seen a picture of him modeling ever and we have been going out for almost 4 years and hes been modeling for over a year. also, abercrombie didnt even tell him that they were going to use the pictures on the bags he didnt know until one of his friends told him that some chick in san fran saw him.

this prob sounds like a bunch of bs a mod can like delete this thread or something haha i feel stupid

senor k--u dont know who he is so how would u know if u saw him anyway? plus its not there right noww it was there over the summer. my parents were there like last week.

Unless I am mistaken, abercrombie's policy changed a few years ago. The models you see on their posters and bags are actually employees that work there. Back when I worked there they told us of this and the company actually has photographers come to all the stores and all the employees take pictures to see if anyone makes the cut for that kind of thing. So, unless he works at abercrombie, or did at the time, it's highly unlikely. And, as stated before, all the stores get the same bags and posters.

If you've been dating him for 4 years and have never seen a modeling picture or shoot of his or seen anything he's been in, I'm gonna go ahead and say he's lying. Just a hunch.

I once dated a girl who told me she modelled; she didn't, but then again she told me a lot of things that she didn't actually do. . . She was just a liar in general (sob, jk jk). I'm pretty sure A&F would've had to tell him that they were going to use his picture before they printed it anyways.

haha why would he lie about something he never even told me abuot. someone else told me he modeled and he kept it a secret. thats why i said that this probably all sounded like BS and that i was dumb for posting anything.

and its cool if u think either im lying or he is, when neither of us are. cuz i probably would think the same thing.. anyway someday when he isnt being so lame ill get a picture of him and post it and u'll be like oh shes not nuts. but until then ill be the psycho pathelogical liar with a "boyfriend whos an abercrombie model"
fine with me i know the truth

oh yeah well im only a sophomore so i guess a few of the years we were going out dont count too much cuz like in 6th grade we were kind of scared of eachother. and why would he let me see one of the shoots if hes embarrassed and his mom makes him do it? also hes only been modeling for a little over a year and "took a break" like the last 4 months haha.

once again this sounds like a bunch of crap so think what u want, even tho im definately not lying.

I don't think we ever questioned that you were lying, we are however questioning his integrity. You're sophomore....do you have any idea what the guys your age are doing and saying to try and seem cool and get girls? And, any friend of his is definately going to go along with whateve BS he has concocted. I can't begin to tell you the kind of things I've gone along with to help my boys out when it comes to a lady. It's just what guys do.

Anyways, it still sounds like he's feeding you a bunch of balogna, but that's just my own BS radar kicking in, having heard and said stupid stuff like that in order to get girls at one point or another.

why would he pretend to model just to get mad whenever i mention it? anyway this is going to sound lame too, but hes not like other guys. wow i wonder how many girls have said that and been wrong. so i dont want to be like them, but i really do think that its true. so i suppose i am just like them if he happens to to just like eveyr other guy that every other girl thinks is different.

I doubt hes modeling for abercrombie as a tenth grader in HS. I SERIOUSLY doubt it at least.

one of my friends modeled for A&F throughout his first two years of high school, and he didn't work there. His mom sent him to the agency to start his career, because he had the talent and the looks. It was sorta sweet.

yeah i dont get why thats so unlikely that a sophomore would model for them. i mean yeah im suree that he lied abuot going to LA for a week over spring break last year. or going to New york for a shoot last memorial day? anyway it doesnt matter im over it eventually he will stop being so lame and embarrassed and show me his pics

Ok, I'm going to end this thread. CTlaxer (I think) said that the policy was only employees could model. Well, you have to be 18 years old to work at A&F, so unless your boyfriend is a dumbass or a foreigner he's lying.

he doesnt work there also u dont have to work there to model for them. u know the guy luke on the OC he models for them, but why would an actor work at a clothing store. hm i doubt that he works and A&F. and u dont have to be 18 anyway to work there. a bunch of my sisters friends work there and some of them are still 17

You do have to be eighteen to work at A&F. Maybe the people you know are friend's with somebody who works there, but, legally, you have to be eighteen to work at A&F. Either that or they lied on their applications and got away with it. If you're at least sixteen they usually tell you to apply at abercrombie kids. My friend said they just hired his sister on the spot without an interview or anything, could have eben the same case; I dunno, they do things differently there. . .

You dont have to work at A&F to be a model for them. Look at there site, every model in the kids section/area is like 16 or so, or younger, so as long as you have parental concent and they think you have the talent, you can model for them. Let us see pics, we'll tell you if he models for A&F, lol.
