colgate is up right now 8-5, who woulda thought, definitely the dark horse team this year, lets see if they can stick with it and come out on top over the orange

The score is now 10-6. If Colgate can pull off the upset, and it looks like they will, it will definitely mess with how the brackets shape up....
Also, I'm pretty sure the proper term is dark horse.

Scratch what I said about Colgate looking like they were going to win....Colgate has only a 1 point lead with about 2:00 left in the game. The Orange have made a comeback. I'm not really surprised either.

Edit: It's now 12-10 Colgate with about 1:00 left.

i wish i could have seen the game, Colgate is on a roll!
i'm dont want to take anything away from their win... but does anybody know what happened to cuse today? the recap i saw showed a lot of wide shots... oh well congrats colgate.
anyone think this puts cuse down to number 3 seed?
i hope they stay number two that way my final four predictions from preseason stand true...
EDIT:
cuse got out ground balled, galloway was apparently really off making only 7 saves compare to colgate's 16.
cuse out shot colgate by 14. and for one of the few times this year, Brennan and Miller got dominated at the faceoff X. winning only 8 of 25. cuse was much stronger in the clearing game though.
i know stats don't really show evrything about the game, i've seen someone be statistically stronger in almost every category but lose... but these stats almost seem self evident... colgate's goalie either had a monster day, or cuse was taking bad shots....

holy CRAP. i saw the score on the bottom line when it was about half time and Colgate was up something like 7-4, but i didn't imagine this happening:wow:

Well so far there have been a bunch of upsets Penn State over Georgetown in OT, Brown over Princeton and this game

Probably the most exciting game in DI I've seen this year.

From what I saw, Syracuse didn't really seem to be trying too hard. It looked like Colgate came out during the second half fired up and ready to play, and Syracuse didn't show any emotion until the 4th quarter run they had. Danny Brennan, Syracuse's main fogo, was injured and didn't play so 'Cuse had trouble getting possession for the most part, and when they did Colgates keeper was there to shut down most of the shots. I think Syracuse was looking too far ahead into the playoffs and didn't pay much attention to this game. Also, Galloways double team attempt late in the game really hurt Syracuse, I can't really understand why they would have sent him with that much time left in the game.
Conveniently, my game was right across the street from Colgate so I walked over before mine started and watched the second half.
