Hey guys,
I have a question, if I work with a long pole for a wile, do you think it could help with my short pole stick skills for middie?
Also are there any drills to help with speed, acceleration and footwork?
thanks help is appreciated,

I'm not sure if your passing and shooting will get much better, but i do know that your cradling will improve, your dodging will improve your catching will get better, and your gonna be able to cradle a lot faster.

Yeah, I play d and when I just screw around with a shorty I have insane stick skills. It definitely helps, shame I love d too much to switch hahha

I dont think that working with a D-pole will help all that much with your shorty.. if anything it will hurt you more, at least in my opinion.. once you start playing with a d-pole your throwing motions most likely will begin to change simply because you have an extra 30 inches on it. This will really only cause you to take a longer time to adjust back to a short stick. I play d-pole now and i hate playing with a shorty.. it just feels awkard in my hands.. I suggest just staying with the shorty and just keep working with that.
