Duke Lacrosse

I have a few questions.
First, how good would you have to be to make it onto the Duke LAX Team?
And second, does Duke take many players from try-outs, or all they all recruited from high school?

pretty much all of them are recruited. they might leave room for 1 or 2 walk ons. and you have to be nasty to be on them. Like top notch on a very prestigious camp or team you play on

dude, i dont know how old you are, but chances are a team like duke has already recruited a good majority of the class for the year you're playing... walk ons are possible, but you have to be SICK! if thats your goal, good luck and i hope you get it.

to get into duke youve got to be pretty god damn sick. dont worry about it in 8th grade though. just play a lot and practice as much as you can.

Ok, well I told Austinator in a PM before and I'll say it again, you have to be very good, yes, to get into duke, but one of our junior middies barely played varsity last year and this year he didn't start the first half the season. Yet he is going to duke for lax.

So the moral of the story is, it's not impossible to get into duke.

I do know a walk-on at Duke, so it's not impossible. He's very good though.

But hey, if you walk on and don't make it, you still get to attend Duke, right?
