[Mesh] New Pocket

Hey guys i just got my jimalax mesh in the mail today and just finished stringing my pocket. I like a high pocket and alot of hold and a bit of whip. Can you guys let me know what you think about this new pocket i made. Its one of my first ones and im happy with it. Just gotta see how it throws tomorrow at practice.

it looks pretty good, but i know someone's gonna flip over the sidewalls being loose haha, and sweet dye.

You should resize those pictures because they are gigantic! The stringing looks a bit shallow and looks like it'll whip like crazy. I just hate how 6D looks in general.

you skipped a sidewall hole on one side and not on the other fix that up

Ok i just finished redoing the sidewall and i made it tighter. Im not going to post picture now but i will tomorrow after breaking it in at practice and during break at school.

i really suggest interlocking. there's less pocket swing and therefore, its more consistent

Looks good, but remember to keep your sidewalls tight i have problems with that too.:thumbsup:

thanks i had to redo the sidewall with the missing hole as i said and i think i made it a bit tighter. Ill see what my friends at school that are on my team think.

Not horrible for a first try, a couple things need to be fixed but you will get it right. Although you said you like a "bit" of whip that pocket will be giving you A TON of whip. Re-arrange those shooters and loosening them ought to do the trick.

Thats what i thought also but i was just outside playing around with it before i head off to school, and it is throwing perfectly. Not a lot of whip but enough to get a good snap off the release. It seems really good now. Just have to see what my friends say about it. Ill post some new pictures after it is broken in a bit at practice.

I may sound like a broken record but it looks like it might whip a leetle bit. If so, the shooters are probably just tight. I like high pockets too, and I like that dye job

why do people yell at him for his pocket having whip? maybe he likes whip? when i first started i had a stick that i threw perfectly with and when my friends shot it the ball went behind them. if you like whip than more power to ya, just fix some things up
