How much does protection matter to you?

I'm going to suggest Rhinoskin, like I always do. It's amazingly light and thin but if you want more protection then I'd look elsewhere.

might wanna try the Brine Rhinoskin stuff. Seems pretty light and definately not bulky. Here's a link http://www.lax.com/shop/item.phtml?page=product_6666_front.phtml
EDIT: argh, -HSKR- beat me to it.

the stx liner is best for weight and has a bit more coverage than other liners. but it is still very minimal

go with the stx g-forces. They don't make them anymore, they were sadly replaced by the g22s. For me, the g22s are too bulky and too stiff. If you want some extremely light, mobile shoulder pads, definitely go with the stx g-forces.

If you don't care about protection, get some cheap pads and just cut everythin' off.
I recently did so for practices.
I'm still suggesting farrells, as they're sex.
