yet another talon question

okay so earlier i posted a question on talon sticks, and i ended up getting one and i love it. i got the talon legend and it is awesome. i used it in practice for a while then i brought it to a tournament yesterday and someone asked me "because it is wood, can you paint it and change the color?" i thought you might be able to but its coated with a veneer so i dont know if it would stick. im not thinking of doing it because i love the look of a wooden stick, but im wondering if its possible.

yes it is possible to paint it but it would chip pretty easily. and you are right why would anybody want to paint over the look of wood?

i dont know, some random dude who wasn't even in the tournament walked up to me at halftime and asked... i was kinda creeped out.
