I think I remember seeing a picture of Gvodzen, and his thumb piece is broken.

that happened the first day I had mine. I took them out of the cold box that they came in and I put them on, moved my hand, and they snapped. I got a different pair and they have held up great and wouldn't trade them for anything.

That happened to my off hand one, I don't really care, more mobility.

Hmm i wish that happend to mine, i still broke my thumb with these gloves, and im thinking of takeing this crappy plastic things off and just makeing my own gaurd. Do you think a hammer would break em off?

They look like they're rivited on, your best bet is probably prying them off.

same thing happened to mine, which is ironic because where the plastic broke is why my thumb broke and now im done for the season.
