Alright well ive been playing with a cut down d shaft for awhile but ive seen people using alot shorter shafts what do do you think is better a long shaft or a short one

I think I would go for the short one. You get better accuracy and more control. That's just my opinion

its pretty much all preference. i like the regular goalie length shaft just cuz thats wat im use to. i tried using a shorter shaft and i didnt like it for passing

usually not all the case just based upon my knowledge is that a longer shaft is used to start so you can clear longner but when you get older you use a shorter cus there is less weight and no advantage cus your strong enough to clear long

i started with a short shaft and have used that because for younger kids it is much easier to learn with but i just recently traded for a modified diamond (3 inch longer than middie) and am beginning to try that

i am using a cut down d pole right now and i love warrior diamond and so that is awesome for me if you feel like you want a shorter shaft just cut it down some more. i have seen goalies using atack shafts and i dont believe that is a really good idea id rasther have some length on it.
