Goalmaster

Can someone give me a good review of the STX goalmaster. Ive heard people say it is good and others not so much but if someone could in depth i would appreciate it.

It's a great head for the price. Weight is pretty light, on par with the Eclipse I'd say. Stopping area is kind of small, about the same size as the Sentinel just a different shape. Not overly stiff, but it's not really flimsly either. It's an old head, so the string holes don't provide a lot of options for different stringings. I've strung very nice open sidewall 17D pockets in mine (I've had three) and 10D pockets, but I haven't been able to string a very good 12D pocket. If you're not willing to spend the money on an Eclipse/Nemesis/Eraser/Sentinel, it's your best option.

Its preference with this head. Some people like the stiffness, others don't. Its the traditional shape that sets it lower than the Eclipse. Other than that, its great. And as stated above, it is a little tricky to string.
