I'm playing on a turf field this weekend. Any thing I should pay attention to when playing goalie? Does the ball bounce differently? How should I play the ball? What adjustments do I have to make to my stance or anything else? And any overall tips would be helpful too.

Well My school has a turf field and it is really nice because you dont need to scout the field for patches of dirt as you will get a fairly consistent bounce and very little skid. but if i were you when you first get in the cage find a marker in front of you as it is hard to mark your crease. also i would look for any black patches close to the goal and spread the bits of turf out just to insure even bounce. but more often than not itll be alot more consistent than a grass field.

i don't think there is one field that is the same as the other. each field has certain characteristics that makes them unique to each field (home-field advantage). i mean generally shots usually come off turf has little skid like iamthewall said and bounces depends on how the person shoots but i think turf does go little higher than normal. Make sure you get a really good bounce shot warm-up so that way you find all the little kinks of the field before the game

if the shooter has a good 3/4 arm shot then the ball can sometimes get a spin off the turf. it's a little odd at first but it's not so much that you have to adjust how you play. turf overall is fairly consistent. but i believe you do get higher bounces so watch those ones towards the edge of the crease, they like to sneak under the cross bar. but just make sure you step to the ball and you should be fine
